Sony Ericsson’s Walkaman Series phone “Zylo” review



The Sony Ericsson Zylo is the Walkman series mobile phone with awesome multimedia and 3G capabilities. Its 2.6 inches TFT display gives 240 x 320 pixels resolution and up to 256K colors can be clearly seen on it. It is expected to launch in third quarter of 2010 in various tempting colors like Jazz Black, Chacha Silver and Swing Pink. This sleek and stylish phone also has accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate and scratch-resistant surface.

It runs on 2G GSM quad band and 3G in configuration of 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and 2100/900 MHz.Its connectivity options are NetFront, HTML, XHTML, Flash Lite, RSS, CSS, WML browsers for speedy browsing and v2.1 stereo Bluetooth. The navigation to unexplored destinations via a GPS is also possible by Zylo as even Google Maps are loaded on the phone.

The 3.15 MP camera is superb with 2048x1536 pixels resolution and geotagging and video calling features. Its highlighted features are caters motion based downloadable games social networking via Facebook and Twitter.

There is a microSD card to expand memory up to 16GB for music collection and the music player supports MP3, AAC and WMA as well as FLAC. The battery of the phone is also robust being as powerful as 920mAh and delivers 4 hrs of talk time and 330 hrs of stand by time.
