HTC Chacha the Facebook phone coming shortly in India

The much awaited HTC Chacha smart phone is likely to get launched in India next week by HTC Mobiles. This will be the first HTC bar phone with QWERTY keypad. HTC Chacha Price in India is not yet revealed by the company but is expected to be around Rs. 15,000/-. On the side lines of the launch of this new HTC Chacha in Delhi, Lennard Hoornik, president of South Asia Pacific, HTC, said "We will be very aggressive in the Indian market. We will be launching our HTC Chacha smartphone and HTC Flyer tablet next week."


HTC Chacha Features 5 mega pixel camera with LED flash, digital zoom camera resolution of 2592x1944 pixels and an extra feature of Geo-tagging and face detection. This smart phone allows us the options for instant messaging , push Email and easy access to social networking sites like Twitter , Google search, Maps , Picasa integration, You Tube and dedicated Facebook button for one touch access to the key functions . This phone supports WAV, MP3, Polyphonic ringtones with the sound formats :AAC, AMR, OGG, MID, MP3, WAV, WMA with bluetooth , Wifi ,EDGE,GPRS and 3G. The call records for this attractive HTC phone are practically unlimited.


HTC Chacha Specifications include Android 2.4 operating system with 600 MHz processor with 512 MB RAM and CPU with operating frequency - GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 / HSDPA 900 / 2100 MHz. This phone weighs only 120g and has a dimension of 114.4x64.6x10.7 mm. Blessed with full QWERTY keypad this handsome HTC Chacha incorporates a wholesome 2.6” inch TFT Touch screen with 256k colour display. This smart phone comes with 1250 mAh Li-Ion battery which has a standby time of 400 hours on 2G and 600 hours on3G and talktime of 450 minutes on 2G and 400 minutes on 3G.This stylish phone has an internal memory 512 MB ROM and 512 MB RAM with an external micro SD memory card slot expandable upto 32 GB.

This HTC smart phone will be available in two colours Black and Silver .
