HTC Wildfire now getting upgraded with Android 2.2 FroYo



The crazy little thing called ‘FroYo’ gets bigger and larger in its way to stardom. As heard on news and on a topic posted on a social network operated by HTC, they have announced the following, “HTC Wildfire has been upgraded and it has only started in Europe last December and approximately it will reach worldwide by the end of February.

As we all know, HTC Wildfire runs with Android 2.1 Éclair operating system and the HTC Sense UI with chip buzzing with 528 MHz and Qualcomm MSM7225, 384MB of RAM with 512MB of ROM. The model includes 3.2" QVGA touch screen and MIcroSD card slot expandable up to 32GB. Also comprises 5 Megapixel Camera and auto focus with flash. This model comes with battery of 1300mAh and supports for Talk-time up to 400 hours. For connectivity purpose it has got 3G HSDPA, GPRS, Bluetooth 2.1, EDGE and Wi-Fi, and also a microUSB docks for easy access to PC. Other features comprise a 3.5mm audio video jack, proximity sensor, G-sensor, FM radio, digital compass and also an ambient light sensor. From December up to present it would be no longer operate by Android 2.1 but rather Android 2.2. Amazing!

HTC Wildfire for its price available in Rs.17, 490 is quite a successful device, which can be regarded as a worthy substitute for the previous budget models now that it would be upgraded in Android 2.2.
