LG GS 205 and LG GS117 are the latest bar style entry level handsets
from LG. The duo are pretty usual mobile phones with all the basic
features incorporated in them. On sale at such an economical price in
India, LG GS205 and LG GS117 will get many potential buyers in the
Indian handset market.


LG GS205 is a bit thick at 14mm width and weighs about 90grams. It has
a 2 inch panel with 128X160 pixels resolution. It works on 900/1800
MHz GSM network. It has a 1.3Mp digital zoom camera with 1280 x 1024 pixels resolution. It is capable of video recording and playing at a resolution of
176×144 pixels at 30fps speed in 3GP and MP4 formats. Its huge 4GB
internal memory is expandable to 8GB via a microSD card support.
WAP v2.0 and GPRS enables quick browsing and sending and receiving of
SMS &MMS but e-mail facility is missing in the phone. Polyphonic
ringtones of this phone is facilitated with vibrating alert. The phone

Being offered at such a low price, LG GS117 has only basic features
incorporated in it like PIM features like calculator, calendar, alarm
and organiser. It 950mAh battery has a talk time of 15 hours and stand
by time of 720 hours.Its internal memory is just 1.9MB which can store
up to 500 phonebook entries and 100 SMS. It lacks provision for memory
expansion.
