Samsung touchscreen music phones, Champ (C330) and the Omnia Lite (B7300) launch in India

The wait and need for an excellent touchscreen music mobile ends as Samsung launched it two new touchscreen mobile phones with great music functionality in India, the Champ (C330) and the Omnia Lite (B7300).



The Champ (C330) has a 2.4-inch QVGA touchscreen with a Stylus Pen for convenient touch experience. Its side-stationed 3.5mm audio jack uses Sound Alive 3D effects for high quality sounds. The FM radio with recording and self-made song library on C300 can be saved in its 30MB internal memory which is expandable up to 8GB for storage of even more data. Besides that, 12 hours of talktime is also offered with the phone’s 1000 mAh memory.

Samsung Champ homescreen can be personalized with seven pages, highlight widgets and applications etc. The phone gives connectivity to seven popular SNS sites viz.Facebook, MySpace, Photobucket, Flickr, Friendster, Picassa, and Twitter.

Other highlighted attributes of Champ are Bluetooth 2.1 support, USB 2.0 support, built-in VGA camera, advanced Mobile Tracker, SOS message, Touchwiz Lite 2.0 UI, and 3 page extended menu.

The stylish business-cum multimedia touchscreen mobile phone, the Omnia Lite, runs on Windows 6.5 Pro Edge.

It has excellent JAVA based organizer features such a document view, MS Word, MS Excel, Powerpoint slides view and view PDF files. The MS Exchange Server Push email feature let users seamlessly sync between a PC and their device.Users can utilize up to 10 hours of talktime with its 1500 mAH battery.



The Touchwiz Lite 2.0 UI let users enjoy wider and richer touchscreen experience. The 250MB internal memory of the Omnia Lite is expandable up to 32GB for enjoying several media files. There is a 3 megapixel camera to capture clear pictures and its 3D photo album makes the entire browsing experience purely fun.

Other attributes of the Omnia Lite are one finger zoom, Opera Browser, options of 80 online widgets from the Samsung Widget gallery, DiVx and Xivd support, and DLNA support.
