Vodaphone 150 & Vodaphone 250 - truly reasonable

This one is indeed targeted for poor rural India and will be a rage there. We are talking about the latest offering of Vodafone and handset manufacturer TCL's ultra-low cost mobile phones that they are launching soon in India.

In a country of millions of mobile users, for the first time with these phones - the Vodafone 150 and Vodafone 250 –lives in rural India will also be changed as they become part of the mobile society.

Vodafone 150 & Vodafone 250

The Vodafone 150 has outstanding features and at this price, it is certainly a miracle. It can feed in 100 contacts, has 500mAh battery that offers 400 hours of standby and 5 hours of talk time and charges through a miniUSB port. The phone works in 900/1800 MHz GSM networks. Beside that, the Vodafone 150 also supports mobile payment services and has a flashlight on the back.

Very similar is the Vodaphone 250 except for two features, one that it is a little larger in size, has colour screen and the other that it has a FM radio. If ever FM radio can be listened in villages, it will definitely become the most sought for gadget there.

Its bigger color screen is 1.45" CSTN display of 128 x 128 pixel resolution - and is equipped with an FM radio with stereo headset support. The rest of the specifications remain the same. It also runs on 500mAh battery with 400 hours standby and 5 hours talk time, miniUSB port, 100 contacts and a flashlight.
