Acer neoTouch S200

The Acer neoTouch S200 a newly launched mobile phone is a great combination of black and grey colour which makes the mobile look stylish and attractive. The overall size of this handset is acceptable, and a large resistive TFT type 3.8 inches touchscreen supports 65K colours display.

The Acer neoTouch S200 delivers bright and crisp images. The loudspeaker has light sensitivity sensors which are above the screen, along with the LED indicator. All buttons below the display are touch-sensitive.




On either side of the Acer neoTouch S200 the user will find the power on and off button, 3.5mm jack, stylus, volume rocker, reset key and camera shutter. There is a miniUSB port which is located at the bottom. The microSD and SIM card slots are under the plastic back panel and the 5-megapixel camera is located at the top.

Interface:

The user have got several pre-installed, nicely looking themes that lend colour to the simple face of the phone's operating system. Besides all this the user can also choose between fast-dialing a contact, sending SMS or MMS by either sliding their finger over the contact entry or pressing the icon on the left.

The inbuilt YouTube application has a simplified and at the same time, beautiful interface. The Acer neoTouch S200 sports a built-in GPS navigation feature that helps you to find out the information about the desired destination.




The Acer neoTouch S200 is equipped with 5-megapixel camera that comes complete with LED flash option. As a whole, the image quality of the camera feature is mediocre and the pictures are good enough for being shared over social networks. You can capture videos in MPEG-4 at maximum resolution of 640x480 pixels and 30 frames per second.

If we talk about the music and multimedia functionality than the user have to rely on the standard application that comes with the operating system to listen to music and watch videos.


Disadvantages:

Unfortunately, the mobile loves fingerprints and you will have to clean it on regular basis if you want it to look good. The apps doesn’t allow for video uploads, so this is its major disadvantage. The Blogger app comes with simplified interface and doesn’t deliver great functionality. Snapshots that are taken outdoors in natural lighting conditions are not really good as they are blurry and lack enough details.

Overall, the Acer neoTouch S200 is a mediocre performer.
